Ultraviolet Systems

Ultraviolet disinfection process is carried out by decomposing DNAs of viruses, bacteria and microorganisms by applying UV rays at 254 nm wavelength without adding any chemicals or oxidants in water. Generating short UV waves by using low pressure mercury lamp, the disinfection system eliminates bacteria, protozoa, virus, mold, fungi, algae and their eggs.

In conclusion, water that is treated healthly from the microbiological aspect without disturbing the chemical and physical structure is obtained. Products which are harmful for environmental and human health such as THM are not produced.

Ultraviolet Models

Mono lamp ultraviolet units operate effectively between capacities 0.26 m3/hour – 5 m3/hour and beam density 30.000 uW/cm2 – 40.000 uW/cm2. 304 or 316 stainless steel collectors are used according to the properties of the raw water and process.
Multi lamp ultraviolet (UV) systems operate effectively between capacities of 6 m3/hour – 86 m3/hour and beam density 30.000 uW/cm2 – 40.000 uW/cm2. 304 or 316 stainless steel collectors are used according to the properties of the raw water and process. For higher flow rates units can be connected in parallel to meet the desired capacity.
Amalgam lamp ultraviolet (UV) systems operate effectively between capacities of 30 m3/hour – 280 m3/hour and beam density 30.000 uW/cm2 – 40.000 uW/cm2. Amalgam Series Ultraviolet units can be produced with 304 or 316 stainless steel collectors according to the properties of the raw water and process and can be used with automatical scrapper system as optionally.
The MP series is designed for use with high flow rates in public swimming pools and water treatment systems. MP Lamps operate over a wide spectrum range, which is very effective for destroying chloramines present in water of public swimming pools. These systems perform effective disinfection by eliminating microorganisms (99%), including microorganisms resistant to chloramine treatment.
