Softening Systems

Dissolved calcium (Ca) and magnesium (Mg) ions present in water, make the water to be hard. Reducing the hardness of water by removing calcium and magnesium ions through ion exchange method is called softening.

It employs the principle of exchanging calcium (Ca) and magnesium (Mg) ions which cause hardness, with Sodium (Na) ions in the resin thanks to Cationic Resin. This way, water output from the system is softened utilizing the ion exchange method.

Softening Models

Full automatic valves are used as control unit in TF series single column softening units and it carries out regeneration according to the set time (timer) or flow rate (volumetric) on valve, without requiring human intervention.
Full automatic tandem valves are used as control unit in TFD series dual column (tandem) softening units. The system carries out regeneration according to the set flow rate (volumetric) on valve, without requiring human intervention.
TFVY series single softening units are designed as surface piping by using pneumatic (air), water and electric actuatored valves. Systems are controlled by a IP 65 control panel which can command regeneration according to flow rate and service automation and include PLC or controller. Softening system which contains single column and salt tank, has a capacity to produce softened water up to 80 m3/h.
TFDY series tandem softening units are designed as surface piping by using pneumatic (air), water and electric actuatored valves. Systems are controlled by a IP 65 control panel which can command regeneration according to flow rate and service automation and include PLC or controller. Softening system which contains double column and two salt tanks, has a capacity to produce softened water up to 80 m3/h. When a column enters regeneration, the other column is activated and continues to produce soft water.
EFV series single softening units are designed as surface piping by using pneumatic (air), water and electric actuatored valves. Systems are controlled by a IP 65 control panel which can command regeneration according to flow rate and service automation and include PLC or controller.
Industrial dual column softening units are effectively employed in processes that include extensive water usage in various industries, particularly textile, chemistry, food, paint, pharmacology etc.
