Softening Systems

Dissolved calcium (Ca) and magnesium (Mg) ions can cause hardness in water. Softening is reducing the hardness of water by removing calcium and magnesium ions using ion exchange method.

It works on the principle of exchanging calcium (Ca) and magnesium (Mg) ions which cause hardness, with Sodium (Na) ions in the resin by way of Cationic Resin. This way, output water from the system is softened utilizing the ion exchange method.

Softening Models

  • TC/TVD Series Softening Systems

Full automatic valves are used as control unit in TC series single column softening units and it carries out regeneration according to the set time (timer) or flow rate (volumetric) on valve, without requiring human intervention. These are compact systems, it requires less area compared to the other units.

  • TF/TFV Series Softening Systems

Full automatic valves are used as control unit in TF series single column softening units and it carries out regeneration according to the set time (timer) or flow rate (volumetric) on valve, without requiring human intervention.

  • TFD Series Softening Systems

Full automatic tandem valves are used as control unit in TFD series dual column (tandem) softening units. The system carries out regeneration according to the set flow rate (volumetric) on valve, without requiring human intervention.

  • TFVY Series Softening Systems

TFVY series single softening units are designed as surface piping by using pneumatic (air), water and electric actuatored valves. Systems are controlled by a IP 65 control panel which can command regeneration according to flow rate and service automation and include PLC or controller. Softening system which contains single column and salt tank, has a capacity to produce softened water up to 80 m3/h.

  • TFDY Series Softening Systems

TFDY series tandem softening units are designed as surface piping by using pneumatic (air), water and electric actuatored valves. Systems are controlled by a IP 65 control panel which can command regeneration according to flow rate and service automation and include PLC or controller. Softening system which contains double column and two salt tanks, has a capacity to produce softened water up to 80 m3/h. When a column enters regeneration, the other column is activated and continues to produce soft water.

  • EFV Series Softening Systems

EFV series single softening units are designed as surface piping by using pneumatic (air), water and electric actuatored valves. Systems are controlled by a IP 65 control panel which can command regeneration according to flow rate and service automation and include PLC or controller. As tank material, usually 37 carbon steel that has epoxy overlaids on inside and outside surfaces is used. Stainless steel and carbon steel tanks with galvanization overlaids can be used if needed. System is combined with salt tank. EFV series water softening systems have  the capacity to produce softened water up to 283 m3/h.

  • EFD Series Softening Systems

Industrial dual column softening units are effectively employed in processes that include extensive water usage in various industries, particularly textile, chemistry, food, paint, pharmacology etc.
